How to Pay a Traded Invoice

Paying an invoice that has been Traded/sold on Credebt Exchange should have little/no impact on your Accounts Payable [AP] processes. All that is required is a one-time entry in your AP system:

Tail Image Step-1

Before any invoice is traded on Credebt Exchange, your supplier, or a Credebt Exchange analyst, will contact your AP personnel to get approval in advance

Tail Image Step-2

You will be asked to create a new Supplier Branch in your AP System called “DEBX {Supplier}”, where {Supplier} is the same as the main supplier account

Tail Image Step-3

All invoices sold on the Exchange will carry the ‘Sold on Credebt Exchange’ stamp as shown above and will also contain the “DEBX {Supplier}” name

Entering invoices into your AP system continues and is unchanged. Paying/’spooling’ accounts payments will remain unaffected.

No Affect on Your Supplier Relations

Credebt Exchange strict policy ensures that the sensitive relationship between all Debtors and suppliers is respected. Supporting your suppliers and permitting them to Trade the Exchange, you can:

  • Benefit by requesting a 5-10% extension in their credit terms
  • Agree that only suppliers turning over <15M can trade
  • Only permit specific suppliers to trade
  • Work with Credebt Exchange to promote this to your suppliers
  • Cancel the permission to trade the Exchange at any time

Choosing to support your suppliers by permitting them to Trade the Exchange should not adversely affect on your current relationship.
